The F40 and L40 Transport Skates are a 3-point skate pairing designed to facilitate safe, stable, and easy moves in a wide range of settings - manufacturing, rigging, construction, military, and government. The F40 skate is a straight-line skate set in the rear of the load with an adjustable connecting bar. The L40 offers a turning plate and handlebar for pulling and steering. This heavy capacity skate pairing can transport loads up to 176,000lbs (80 metric tons combined, 40 metric tons for each F40 and L40). The three-point skate system glides on polyamide rollers providing substantial protection from slipping, even with pulling and tugging, without scuffing or marking floors. Its rollers are replaceable, seated in actuating cassettes to counteract uneven floors, and offers a loading height of 7.1in (180mm). The F or L transport skates can also be paired with GKS RL Skates or GKS Tandem TL Skates. A nickel-plated version is available for use in clean rooms in industries like food processing, pharmaceutical, and chemical settings.
